The sub-forumsEdit

The AC forums are composed of three elements:

The "overview bar"Edit

Where you find direct links to your user Control Panel; to the user's picture Allbums; to the Blogs; the FAQ; the member list; to the calendar, where you can find special events like users' birthdays; to the latest posts; the search bar; the very useful quick links tool; and the log out. This bar will always be displayed when you are on the forums. It makes it easier to go wherever you want, you may think of it as the “shortcut” bar.

The top statisticsEdit

Here the main stats of the forum are displayed; latest blogs, with both user "publisher" and the number of comments; latest posts, with the name of the thread they belong to, the username of the last "poster", the time of the post and the section where the thread is located; finally you have stats for the top thread starters.

The sub-forumsEdit

This is obviously the core of the subject. The Forum is composed of 7 big sections, called villages, for most of them. Each section or village is composed of sub-forums. For each sub-forum you can see the name of the thread in which the last message was posted and the number of threads and posts the section has.

AnimeCrazy VillageEdit

Here you will find anything related to the AC site (updates, events, etc); you can introduce yourself, which is highly recommended to be nicely welcomed by the AC community; you will find anything related to fanclubs and groups; and finally you will find a very special place of the forum, “the lounge”.The lounge is a great place where you can discuss about almost anything.

Dorama centerEdit

Here you will find anything related to Asian Drama, be it Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese and Korean. Here you can post your Asian Drama/movie requests as well.

The Anime VillageEdit

Here you will find anything related to anime. You will find discussions specially dedicated to the "popular" shows, and more general discussions about different subjects in anime.

The Village MallsEdit

This is a very interesting place where you can talk about other interest you may have, like music anything technology related, other kind of movies or shows, manga and video games.

Village of creativityEdit

You will be amazed by the talent some of the people have in the AC community. Here you will find some of the most hardworking members. When you first come to the AC forums, this place is a must see.

Two places are highly recommended, the avatars and signature sub-forum and the forums games. Concerning the first one, you will see that a lot of members have amazing avatars and signatures, well if you go to the "New Sig and Avy Shop" thread in this section, you may ask someone to do something for you. The AC artists will make something for you. Now, concerning the forum games, you will find a lot of hilarious ways to share your time with other members of the forum. It's a great place to find friends.

More surprises await you in this great village, though. If you are an artist or you like anything art related, this is were you belong. Are you interested in drawings, graphics, fanfiction, roleplaying or even poetry? Well, here you will find your pleasure. And last but not least, here you will find a fundamental part of the AC community, the AnimeCrazy fansubs. Any help you could bring shall be greatly appreciated. After all, that is what being part of the AC community is all about.

Village OutskirtsEdit

The last village of the AnimeCrazy forum is probably the most important one. Are you lost on the forum? Are you having problems of any kind related to the forum or the site? Well, this is the place where you can find help. This would also be a place where you can contribute to the AC community by sending some feedback about the forum or the site, by reporting broken anime, bugs or potential tweaks. You can also leave your opinion about the last version of the site, which would be a nice way to help improving the AC experience.

Here you will also find all the anime releases and you can post your anime requests.

Bonus information: At the bottom of the forum main page, you will find some information about the activity of the site, like the last pictures being uploaded, the list of active users, and the list of the members who would love to receive a birthday message from you. Be a a nice member of the AC community and have fun!

Can't get Avatar & SignatureEdit

To get an avatar and a signature, you need respectively 30 and 100 forum posts. This means posts in threads, blog posts don't count.

The reason for this is because these 2 take in bandwidth, now it isn't much per person, but accumulate all of those people and it isn't as little.

Now let's say you don't use the forums except for every now and again. To give you an avatar would mean to give bandwidth (which costs money) to someone who doesn't even use it all that often. So in other words, they'd be giving you their money, which you don't use.

If you use the forums enough you'll soon get your avatar, don't worry about it.
